Binance, one of the leading international multi-language cryptocurrency exchange, has announced that it is listing Dent (DENT). In its announcement Binance mentioned that it will open trading for DENT/BTC and DENT/ETH trading pairs at 2018/07/06 7:00 AM (UTC). The exchange also announced that it has started accepting deposit.
What is Dent?
DENT is an ERC20 token, formed on the Ethereum blockchain, and it envisions to be the currency or token for buying and selling mobile data worldwide. The company is website states that it’s using the Ethereum blockchain as it reduces the effort of designing a decentralized system from scratch, while smart contracts provide a trustworthy, fraud-proof way of defining the mobile data packages as well as the process of buying and selling them.
Dent has two service verticals which include Data Top-ups- where a user can purchase mobile data using DENT tokens and The purchased data can then be sent to anyone in the world, Airtime Top-ups- where users can buy airtime by using a credit card, PayPal, or they can pay with BTC, ETH, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash via the in-app integration of Coinbase Commerce. DENT is already connected to and live with AT&T and Verizon in the USA and Telcel and Movistar in Mexico for its Data top-ups and is onboarding of 400 operators in 130 countries allows cross-border remittance of airtime to virtually anyone in the world for its Airtime Top-ups.
Dent also plans to set up Dent exchange which will not only serve individual mobile users but provides market solutions to mobile operators.
DENT Tech team is also participating in several research projects together with forward-thinking Telcos, implementing potential efficiencies, use cases and various profit models blockchain will bring to the next revolution of the Internet. DENT is a member of TIP, “Telco Infra Project” and Enterprise Ethereum Alliance.
