Institutions ready to increase investment in crypto ETFs

Many surveys indicate the growing interest of institutional investors in bitcoin and other digital currencies.

Moreover, investment funds and financial companies prefer to enter the cryptosphere through products focused on digital assets.

The most popular instrument is ETF crypto funds, RBC reports, citing the results of a survey conducted by Brown Brothers Harriman.

The company polled institutional investors, 74% of which announced their intention to invest in crypto ETFs by the end of 2023. This category of respondents is interested in an innovative tool and is ready to test its capabilities.

Institutional people from the USA, Europe and China took part in the survey, a total of 325 respondents. 48% of them plan to invest in crypto ETFs during 2023. The majority of Chinese institutions (58%) said they prefer to diversify their portfolio with digital currencies in the face of global financial uncertainty.

In Europe, only 29% of institutional investors plan to invest part of their capital in crypto funds by the end of this year, the researchers emphasized.
