As a result of voting, Uniswap users supported the deployment of the third version of the decentralized exchange protocol on the BNB Chain network.

On January 22, as part of a preliminary vote, the community approved the initiative. Wormhole was chosen as a cross-chain bridge between Ethereum and BNB Chain.
According to the results of February 10, 65.89% of participants were in favor of the relevant Plasma Labs proposal, 33.57% were against. Among the latter was the venture capital company Andreessen Horowitz, which used all 15 million tokens available to it.
On Feb. 6, Philippe Zentner, founder and CEO of DEX aggregator Li Finance, warned Uniswap against the Wormhole-only option. In his opinion, an independent solution with several cross-chain bridges is “a win-win option for everyone.”
Recall that Cinneamhain Ventures partner Adam Cochran suggested that Uniswap allows the introduction of a user verification system in the next version of the protocol.
