In January, Australia rose to third place in the ranking of countries in terms of the number of bitcoin ATMs. She ousted Spain from this line.
As of July 1, 2023, there were 513 digital currency terminals in Australia, according to data from the CoinATMRadar service.
The leading positions in the ranking continue to be held by the United States and Canada with 30,997 and 2,787 bitcoin ATMs, respectively. The top ten countries in terms of the number of cryptomats also include Spain, Poland, El Salvador, Hong Kong, Switzerland, Romania and Georgia.
There are currently 77 terminals in Russia, most of which are located in Moscow.
Since April 2023, the growth in the number of Bitcoin ATMs has resumed after a strong fall in January-March. If on June 1 there were 35,902 terminals in the world, then by the beginning of July this number had increased to 36,172.
General Bytes, Genesis Coin and BitAccess now serve over 50% of ATMs.
