Bitcoin App Strike Launches Tether Operations

Popular bitcoin payment app Strike has announced the launch of transactions with the stablecoin Tether (USDT). The service developers announced support for USDT at the Bitcoin 2023 conference in Miami.

In addition, they announced that the application will be available to residents of another 65 countries.

The integration of the stablecoin Tether will increase the safety of investors who insure against risks during turbulence with the help of digital currencies backed by fiat money.

Strike users will be able to quickly purchase bitcoin and convert it into USDT tokens.

Paolo Ardoino, who serves as the CTO of Tether, welcomed the decision of the Strike developers.

He noted:

We are excited about the USDT and Strike integration. This is an important period in the history of the cryptocurrency industry, as it expands the use of stablecoins as a reliable and efficient virtual instrument.

Due to the tough US crypto policy, the company decided to move its main office to El Salvador.

As Strike CEO Jack Mullers noted, the Latin American state creates favorable conditions for the teams involved in the formation of a global infrastructure for bitcoin.
