Coinbase announces partnership with Standard Chartered

Bitcoin exchange Coinbase has announced a partnership with Standard Chartered. The collaboration will enable Singapore-based platform customers to make fiat deposits through local banks.

Coinbase also announced the integration of the electronic identification system Singpass. The latter allows Singapore citizens to interact with government agencies and banks.

“This means you can easily cash out from your Coinbase account using wire transfers, giving you greater flexibility and control over your holdings,” the company said in a statement.

The Coinbase initiative follows the international expansion framework.

Coinbase reminded about their educational program.

“We understand that investing in the crypto economy can be challenging, which is why we created Coinbase Learning. This is a comprehensive directory of resources designed to educate customers and provide advice on safely navigating the market.

Recall that Coinbase noted the negative impact of the banking crisis on the cryptocurrency industry.
