For six months, a resident of Brest illegally spent a large amount through a crypto wallet
A Brest resident faces a fine for illegal entrepreneurial activity. He illegally spent 1.3 million rubles through his crypto wallet,
informs Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

Employees of the department for combating cybercrime of the Oktyabrsky District Department of Internal Affairs of Minsk found that from November 2022 to April 2023, an unemployed 20-year-old resident of Brest offered services for the purchase and sale of cryptocurrency on specialized Internet sites. At the same time, he made the payment through a crypto wallet. In Belarus, entrepreneurial activity in the circulation of cryptocurrency by individuals – non-residents of the High Technology Park is prohibited.
An administrative report was drawn up on the fact of the offense. A resident of Brest faces a fine, and the proceeds from illegal activities with cryptocurrency will be turned into state revenue.
