Montana Senate Passes Mining Regulation Bill

The authorities of the state of Montana last week passed a bill designed to stimulate the development of the mining industry.

The United States ranks first in the ranking of countries in terms of computing power. American miners control about 40% of the bitcoin hashrate.

Texas remains the most popular state for miners, but other regions of the US are looking to attract cryptocurrency mining companies as well.

Montana allowed home mining and developed a set of measures to reduce the fiscal burden on citizens and companies involved in crypto mining.

The State Senate passed the relevant bill, now it will go to the House of Representatives. If the legislature approves the document, it will be signed by Gov. Greg Gianforte.

In the bill, digital currencies are included in the category of stocks and bonds. Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are also considered financial products.
