“Soon, hundreds of millions of Windows 11 users will have access to this incredible new technology to search, chat, answer questions, and create content right from the Windows taskbar,” the announcement reads.

Bing chat on the taskbar can be used by testers who have accessed the search engine from the waiting list.

Also, the developers have simplified access to a set of audio and video effects Windows Studio Effects from the taskbar. The tool includes features like eye contact, background blur, automatic framing, and voice focusing for the built-in camera and microphone.

The filters use artificial intelligence algorithms and improve the quality of video and audio calls, the company said.

The update is already available in waves to download on PCs running Windows 11 22H2. Microsoft promised that all users will receive Moment 2 by March 14, 2023.

On February 7, Microsoft introduced an AI version of the Bing search engine based on ChatGPT. On the same day, the service was opened to a limited number of testers.

A few days later, users complained about the strange behavior of Bing. The developers explained this by saying that the model gets confused in sessions with 15 or more messages.

On February 17, Microsoft introduced limits on the number of requests to Bing.
