Snoop Dogg co-founded streaming platform Shiller

Live streaming web3 startup Shiller announced American rapper Snoop Dogg co-founded the project along with entrepreneur Sam Jones.

“This app really provides a platform for bloggers to interact with their fans in a unique way and monetize content,” said Snoop Dogg.

The launch of Shiller is scheduled for April 2023.

The purpose of the application is to combine online broadcasts with Web3 technologies. According to the press release, the startup will allow content creators to create their own tokens and digital passes.

Snoop Dogg is a famous investor in collectible tokens under the pseudonym Cozomo de’ Medici. He has released his own NFT collections, including a collaboration with Nyan Cat meme-gif creator Chris Torres.

The rapper also announced the creation of digital marijuana farms in the metaverse of the MOBLAND project and the launch of a dessert shop in the form of non-fungible tokens.

In February 2022, the musician announced plans to turn his Death Row Records into the first NFT label.

Recall that Snoop Dogg and Eminem released a video in collaboration with BAYC, in which they appeared in the form of animated monkeys. The rappers later performed the track at the MTV Video Music Awards.
