Southern District of New York Attorney Damian Williams sent to court a list of sites that founder of the failed FTX, Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), can visit.

According to the document, while awaiting trial, he can access:

  • Amazon marketplace;
  • media sites (The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Decrypt and CoinDesk);
  • Netflix online cinema;
  • music streaming service Spotify;
  • food delivery services DoorDash and Uber Eats;
  • sports websites MLB.com and NFL.com;
  • Etherscan analytical platform and CoinGecko service;
  • YouTube, online encyclopedia “Wikipedia” and all government sites.

Among the list of programs approved by the prosecution are Microsoft Office, Zoom, Adobe Acrobat, Docusign, 1password, Notepad and others. SBF will be given a separate laptop with a VPN and apps to track their communications and online activity.

Recall that the SBF was arrested on December 12, 2022 in the Bahamas at the request of the US government. The court released him on $250 million bail. Bankman-Fried faces up to 115 years in prison.

In February 2023, the founder of FTX was charged with conspiracy to commit bank fraud. The number of crimes incriminated to him increased from 8 to 12.
