At the first stage, the option will be tested in Ingenico Axium payment terminals in France at the Le Carlie cocktail bar and Miss Opéra women’s clothing store.
More than 50 cryptocurrencies are available to users. Initially, merchants will be paid in digital assets, and from the second quarter of 2023, an additional solution will allow them to be converted to fiat.
Going forward, the program will expand to European countries where Binance has obtained a license to operate, including Italy, Lithuania, Spain, Cyprus, Poland, and Sweden.
Recall that at the end of January, Binance, in partnership with the payment giant Mastercard, announced plans to issue a prepaid card in Brazil.
