The funds have been idle since November 2022. At the time of writing, these bitcoins are still split into small amounts and withdrawn through various services.
As representatives of the analytical company told bitcoinlinux Crystal Blockchainsome of the coins went to wallets linked to the MEXC, Kucoin exchanges and the BTC2pm exchanger.
The source address is one of two that received part of the 10,000 BTC from a wallet linked to BTC-e.
The latter, according to some reports, may belong to the administrator of WEX (the assignee of BTC-e) Alexey Bilyuchenko.
Recall that Bilyuchenko was detained in March 2022 in the Moscow region on suspicion of embezzling the assets of the bitcoin exchange. Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs confiscated about 190 million rubles from him.
Currently, the defendant is in the Moscow prison “Matrosskaya Tishina”.
