Sui Blockchain Developers reportedthat plan to launch the main network of the project in the second quarter of 2023. The main purpose of launching the core network protocol is to help advance the community of Web3 solution developers.
In addition to launching the network, Sui plans to introduce The Wave to Mainnet, a series of events and materials to further inform the community about the potential of the protocol. The action will help users learn more about the project, which uses promising technologies and unique solutions within the network. However, other activities for the community, like an airdrop, are not planned in Sui.
Sui masters NFT
The day before, March 21, developer Sui Mysten Labs concluded partnership with the Web3 platform Onbuff, which helps to introduce gaming and NFT-IP into the blockchain. In addition, the platform will connect gaming partner projects to Sui.
“Onbuff’s expertise in Web3 innovation, combined with Sui Web3’s dynamic, composable and scalable games and NFT infrastructure and technologies, will help scale Web3 games and unlock endless possibilities in this area,” said Onbuff CEO Richard Yee.
Onbuff is also expected to take advantage of Sui’s scalable technology to create a blockchain platform for INNO content. Thanks to the development, users will be able to play, earn points and tokens, as well as manage wallets and buy NFTs within the platform. Now the number of pre-registrations on the site has already exceeded one million.
Cloud Services for Sui
Another major partnership this month was the collaboration between Mysten Labs and cloud computing provider Alibaba Cloud. The Chinese company will provide cloud services to support the test version of Sui.
The two companies plan to expand their collaboration in the development of sustainable Web3 ecosystems by growing the community and attracting developers to this area. In addition, Mysten Labs and Alibaba Cloud will explore cooperation opportunities in the field of e-commerce and payments.
